What’s new in YuStudio this week?

This week, we’ve made three exciting new upgrades to our award-winning DAW for education, YuStudio®. Read on to find out more.

1. Rave Bassline Synth

In YuStudio, you’ll find a new monophonic synth modelled on the classic Roland 303, the engine behind early house and techno.

Built on familiar controls from the Subtract synth, resonance, distortion, and envelope controls combine to recreate the driven, squelchy tone that defined dance music in the 80s and 90s.

2. Automation improvements

We’ve included a set of updates that make automation faster and more intuitive:

  • Record automation in real time – capture parameter movements as you work.
  • Copy and paste automation data – reuse automation across a track.
  • New automation UI – clearer display for reading and editing.

3. Improvements to existing synths

There are new presets for synths, improved and updated faceplates for Subtrakt & PolyChrome, and additional tuning functionality for Subtrakt oscillators – all of which will give users greater creative control and a more polished experience.

Users can work with a refreshed interface and access finer-tuning options on the Subtrakt.

Coming soon: YuStudio for mobile
