What does this partnership look like in practice?

Our Education Director, Mark Cardy, will work with you directly to understand your strategic goals and shape a support package that genuinely fits, is cost-effective and efficient, and delivers clear, evidence-based impact you can use.

Achieving your goals

We work with you to deepen engagement with music across your region, strengthen the relationship between music service teachers and schools, increase student ownership of their learning and interests, and grow participation in musical activity.

Practical support, built around you

Every partnership often includes subsidised licences for schools, CPD and training for both specialist and non-specialist teachers (including peripatetic staff), and train-the-trainer options for services building internal capacity. Schools receive unlimited teacher accounts and unlimited Yumu student accounts as standard.

Tools and evidence

We provide tools to track and monitor progress, along with robust data, case studies, and ACE-ready reporting. Your service gets a branded platform and admin dashboard, plus a dedicated space to share regional resources with your schools – all backed by year-round, expert support.

Accessible anywhere

Charanga is cloud-based and works across all major browsers and devices, including desktops, laptops, iPads, Chromebooks, and tablets. No installation or specialist equipment is required, and updates happen automatically. And for areas with limited connectivity, an app ensures lessons can continue without disruption.
