Instrumental and vocal teachers
Charanga Music Pro
A key feature of any music service is its team of specialist instrumental and vocal teachers, working across a range of settings, from one-to-one or small-group teaching to classroom and large-scale beginner ensembles. Our Music Pro program is designed to support that breadth.
It provides your teachers with state-of-the-art digital resources that can keep students motivated between lessons, in tandem with a CPD and training offer, and with everything included in Charanga Musical School to support teachers delivering classroom teaching. Students can be given their own Yumu accounts, sustaining engagement outside of lesson time and encouraging them to explore and create music independently.
Music service leads also have access to a dedicated Music Pro Admin dashboard, allowing them to manage and monitor their Music Pro workforce across the region.
What Music Pro include:
- A bank of flexible digital resources and teaching apps, including a range of beginner-stage WCET courses for a wide range of instruments and voice.
- Several Schemes of Work for classroom music that are National Curriculum compliant and follow Model Music Curriculum guidance.
- Accessible music technology, including YuStudio®, our full-featured DAW.
- Unlimited access to Yumu, a secure online learning space for students, enabling teachers to upload their own materials, set assignments and share their lesson content alongside Charanga resources – with optional one-way or two-way text or audio messaging between teachers and students.
- The ILP (Individual Learning Plan) with an End of Term Review tool developed in partnership with Young Sounds UK, which enables teachers and students to set goals based on students’ interests and needs.
- Arts Award digital student portfolios for Explore and Bronze levels.
