Great news if you’re putting on a Charanga / Starshine Music production
Published: 17th November 2020
Unlike other resources on our platform, if you are planning to stage a musical or to record one, you’ll need a Public Performance Licence from the publisher – so we’ve some great news if you’re looking to put on a Charanga/Starshine Music production this year!
As well as enabling schools to hold as many performances of a production as they like for a fixed annual fee of £20, Starshine Music licences will also cover the following in light of COVID restrictions:
- Secure live streaming and/or recorded performances on a school’s own website.
- Secure live streaming and/or recorded performances via Zoom or similar platforms.
- Video and/or sound recordings made at school for home use.
For more information, please visit our Licensing during COVID-19 page.
* Please note that performing a production at an assembly where only pupils and teachers are present, does not require a Public Performance Licence.
