Kristian Parkes

Kristian has been a practising primary school music teacher for 20 years, working in both the classroom and as a member of the SLT within large inner city schools. He is passionate about inclusion and ensuring that every child has the opportunity of a musical education. Kristian’s musical background is as a woodwind specialist, pianist and classical singer. He studied music performance and has a BA in Humanities, with music specialism. As well as working for Charanga, Kristian works as a primary music specialist in a school and is vocal project lead for Essex Music Service.
