VIP partners with PQA, the leading youth film academy

We are really excited to announce a new partnership between VIP Studio Sessions and the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA) – the UK’s leading youth film academy and largest provider of film and TV education. PQA students will join forces with VIP users to create something truly special as part of the project.

Your VIP students are invited to upload music suitable for use in short films onto our platform, and the winning tracks will be used in movies made by PQA students. Every year, selected VIP users win the opportunity to attend a red carpet premiere of a film featuring their music at Leicester Square, London!

To help guide your students in creating music for film, we have produced a series of step-by-step tutorials.  We start by focusing on ‘Horror and Suspense’ music and you’ll find a series of videos in VIP now! To take part, students need only upload their music using the hashtag #film.

PQA offers industry-led, practical filmmaking education all-year round to young people aged 4–18. Students write and produce original short films at 210 academies across the UK. Their films are screened at film festivals worldwide and are broadcast on PQATV channels.
