Charanga’s international schools programme was named ‘Best Product to Promote the Arts, Music and Drama in the Classroom’ last night at the 2019 Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) Awards in Dubai.
The awards ceremony brought together teachers, schools, educational professionals and suppliers to ‘celebrate excellence in the education industry’.
“To be recognised as the go-to-solution for 21st century music provision is just brilliant! We couldn’t be happier,” said Paul Fletcher, CEO of Charanga. “We believe that everyone who uses Charanga should enjoy every minute of their music education and we want to help every child develop a lifelong love of music and the arts.”
GESS is the UAE’s only exhibition dedicated to the entire spectrum of education solutions from pre-school to Higher Education. This year’s three-day event attracted over 550 brands, practitioners and industry leaders from 92 countries.
Charanga also held a CPD & Training event in Dubai earlier this week. “We are starting to build up the number of schools using Charanga in the region and will be holding more events like this,” Madeleine Casson, Charanga’s Education Director, explained. “Our Dubai event was oversubscribed but we have another on the 18th March in Abu Dhabi. We’re also planning to appoint a highly-qualified Emirati representative for Charanga, so watch this space!”
