VIP: Updated Teacher Tracks competition

We believe in the creativity of teachers, and everyday we see the power it has to inspire students to create music and follow their dreams. We hear teachers’ music uploaded to the site every week and we hear constantly about how it has inspired students all over the country to create their own.

We have decided to extend our Teacher Tracks competition because during lockdown teachers are producing more music in VIP than ever and we want to celebrate the creativity of teachers, and to share their music with a wider audience.

Just upload tracks in VIP with the #teachertracks hashtag to be entered. We are also asking teachers to write 50-150 words on how making their own music inspires their students, with a view to sharing best practice on how teachers’ music-making can inspire the young people they teach.

We will be releasing a compilation of all our favourite tracks from VIP teachers nationally, as well as online, plus an online masterclass for our winning teachers. Entries must be in by 31st October 2020.
