Resource information for Instrumental Leaders
You ask, we provide
We know that music teachers are creative and like to do things their own way so we’ll work alongside you to make sure you have just what you want. Our resources are flexible; for example, even with simple pieces we provide notation versions alongside note name versions and provide different speeds, all as a matter of course.
We’re adaptable too - if you work with unusual instrument combinations, let us know and we’ll be happy to add them to the system. We’re proud that the resources we have so far are a reflection of what our partners want, and we’re always pleased to add more.
Your own resources built in
It’s really simple to grow and adapt our system to use resources you’ve created yourself. If you want to create really engaging multimedia resources from your own material come to us and we’ll build them for you. Better still if you don’t mind sharing your resources with colleagues we’ll do it at no extra cost. Since we’ve been working with Music Services we’ve encountered numerous great writers of beginner materials who have derived great satisfaction from seeing their resources published and used by teachers and their students across the country.
You’re free to do what you’re best at - teaching
Our resources are simple to use and easy to pick up. They’re designed for 1-click operation, with no set-up and manipulation having to take place in front of students. The flexibility of the resources means you can introduce them to your teaching at your own pace. IT is no substitute for a good teacher but it can help to engage children and assist them when you’re not there.
This system is practical too. If you have a laptop, then you know how easy it is. If you don’t that’s not a problem, you can select resources and build lessons online, then download them onto a memory stick to use with equipment that’s already set up where you teach. If you don’t have any equipment where you teach then print the resources.
Even if you can’t use the interactive resources in your lessons, your students can still benefit from using them at home to practice between lessons.
